All around the house are iron fences and gates in great need of restoration. Once I scraped my arm on one of the gates and immediately had to get a tetanus shot.
Here the piece of metal that used to close the gate has completely rusted off and now a bungee cord serves the purpose of holding the gate closed.
This is a treacherous old rusted pipe sticking up in the middle of the patio that used to be a gas line to a built-in barbeque.
